Help for SilverSingles members aged 50+

SilverSingles UK Help Centre

Choose the problem that matches what you can see on screen. You will get a focused checklist for account access, profile details, matches, messages, membership or safety without having to work through unrelated advice.

Act before ordinary troubleshooting

Do you need urgent help?

Use the instruction under the event that actually happened. Account access, card misuse and money already sent require different action.

Account security

Someone may have access to my account

  1. Protect the registered email account first.
  2. Use password recovery from the SilverSingles sign-in screen you normally use.
  3. Record unfamiliar profile, message or membership changes.
  4. Do not approve a code or sign-in request you did not start.

Payment concern

I do not recognise a card payment

  1. Compare the date and amount with the purchase confirmation.
  2. Check which account or app store controlled the purchase.
  3. If card misuse may have occurred, contact the card provider immediately.
  4. Keep the bank case and membership record as separate evidence.

Money or information sent

I sent money or sensitive information

  1. Stop further contact and do not send another payment.
  2. Secure the affected bank, card or email account.
  3. Preserve the profile, messages, dates and payment records.
  4. Follow the recovery order while the evidence is still available.
What to do after an online dating scam

Immediate personal danger: contact UK emergency services now rather than waiting for account support.

Help without account access

Cannot sign in?

Complete these checks while logged out. Enter your password only on the SilverSingles sign-in or recovery screen you normally use.

Do not confuse separate account controls

Which result are you trying to confirm?

Changing notifications, hiding a profile, stopping renewal and deleting an account are different actions. Check the final status shown for the one you used.

Account actions and the evidence worth keeping
Your taskCheck on screenKeep as evidence
Change notificationsThe selected email or device alert options are saved.A screenshot of the saved setting if alerts continue.
Change profile visibilityThe profile status shown after the change is saved. The status wording and the time it was changed.
Stop automatic renewalThe renewal or end date displayed after the instruction is confirmed. The cancellation confirmation and purchase record.
Delete an accountThe final message from the deletion route used in the account. The confirmation and any separate purchase details.

One completed action does not prove that the other three were completed. If the status is unclear, report the exact wording rather than guessing what the control changed.

Make the first support request usable

When to contact SilverSingles support

Use the account-support option shown in the SilverSingles service where you registered after the relevant check still leaves an error, missing record or unavailable safety control.

Contact support when

  • Recovery still leaves the account inaccessible.
  • The account shows the wrong profile, membership or purchase information.
  • A completed purchase is missing or a charge is not recognised.
  • A report, block or verification control cannot be used.
  • An accessibility or technical fault prevents the task.

Include these details

  • Registered email and one clear issue category
  • Approximate UK date and time
  • Website, iPhone or Android
  • Browser or app version
  • Exact error and affected screen
  • Checks already completed
  • Previous reference number, if one exists
  • A redacted screenshot only when it explains the fault
Never send: a password, one-time code, PIN, full card number, banking sign-in details, unnecessary identification, intimate images or unrelated private conversations.

Where account-specific support begins

Open the support option displayed in the SilverSingles account or sign-in route where you registered. This Help Centre does not ask for credentials and cannot inspect a private member record.

No verified UK support telephone number is published here. Ignore telephone numbers from unrelated directories, adverts or review pages.

Avoid support impersonation

Recognise an unsafe support request

  • Do not disclose a password, PIN or one-time security code.
  • Do not transfer money to a so-called safe account.
  • Do not pay support with gift cards or cryptocurrency.
  • Do not give anyone remote access to online banking.
  • Do not continue a call that began from an unverified directory number.

Ready to report the problem?

Use one issue category, the exact error, the time and the affected device. That is more useful than sending several requests about the same fault.
